ATTENTION ALL AIRCRAFT OWNERS, excluding those owning a remotely piloted aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 25 kg (55 pounds) or less, or an ultra-light aeroplane.

This notification marks the official reopening of the integral Annual Airworthiness Information Report (AAIR) portal and the commencement of the reporting cycle, which will extend until midnight Pacific time on March 30, 2024.

You may remember that the AAIR portal was temporarily suspended in 2023, as communicated through exemption NCR-003-2023, then reopened with limited functionality in December 2023 to allow aircraft owners to update their contact information in preparation for this announcement.

Canadian aircraft owners can now log into the AAIR portal to submit two years’ worth of data (2022 and 2023) to fulfill this year’s regulatory requirements.

Click here to access the AAIR portal. Once you have selected your chosen language, click “AAIR Login” on the left-hand side menu.

Refer to this user guide for assistance while using the portal.

Notification emails and SMS messages were sent Tuesday, February 6, 2024, to all affected aircraft owners for whom we have a valid email address and mobile number on file. If this notification email is not visible in the recipient’s inbox, please check the spam or junk folder.
Aircraft owners without a valid or any email address can expect to receive the notification via traditional mail.

Please be advised that TC has initiated a project to reimagine its AAIR program, aiming to modernize practices and requirements. We plan to fully leverage digital technology to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and minimize the environmental impact of paper-based processes, ultimately improving user experience, data quality, and analysis. Improvements have already commenced and will continue progressively throughout the year. Rest assured, aircraft owners will be kept informed of the changes and ongoing progress.

Take note that questions or concerns related to the AAIR process and associated form/tool sent to any inbox other than tc.aair-raina.tc@tc.gc.ca will not receive a response. For prompt assistance, ensure your inquiries are directed to tc.aair-raina.tc@tc.gc.ca. We appreciate your cooperation.
